Tip 1: Duplicated Keys
Keys can be easily replicated – even those that say “Do not duplicate” or “Do not duplicate by order of law”, because this is not really against the law and people cannot be prosecuted for doing this. The only key that, by law, may no be duplicated is a key to your mail box. With the result that you are never 100% safe. We know that it is easy to give your keys to a neighbour or friend that you may trust in case of emergency, but it still is not a wise decision to do so. These loyal friends might have children – children that are not so trustworthy and may want to take advantage of an empty house.
